My HEALTHY magazine Analysis!

The reason that we annotated this magazine cover was to get used to what we need to look for in order to make my magazine covers look better, this is because we looked at the good and bad points of the magazine and pointed out the features of it. The magazine cover was a good one, this is because it was simple and effective, the image was what people would want to refer to base themselves around this image. 

Photoshoping :)

After my photoshop tutorial i feel that my photoshoping skills have improved slightly but not enough for me to know how to do everything in the lesson. I learned how to cut things out and then put them onto other backgrounds, i also learned how to add different effects to the images and change the contrasts and colours of them. I now feel that i am more confident in using photoshop and this will aid me in my magazine task.

How Do I Feel About Photoshop?? Hmmm :/

I feel that i am not entirely great with photoshop, i feel that i have the basic knowledge on how to use photoshop, like how to draw and stamp images onto it? I feel that i need to know a lot more before i am actually any good with the edititng systems of photoshop.

The Skills I Need

- Framing a shot, including and exculding elements as appropriate.
- Using a variety of shot distances as appropriate.
- Shooting material as appropriate to the task set.
- Selecting mise-en-scene including colour, figure, lighting, objects and setting.
- Manipulating photographs as appropriate to the context for presentation, including cropping and resizing.
- Accurately using language and register.
- Appropriately intergrating illustration and text.
- Showing understanding of conventions of layout and page design.
- Showing awareness of the need for variety in fonts and text size.
- Using ICT appropriately for the task set.

Lesson Evaluation

In the lesson Miss Breen attempted to teach us how to use Blogger, and sort of did teach us. This will be used to  help me keep track of my work and for it to be available for all to see.
